Hello! We're seeking talented and creative remote video editors to join our dynamic, growing team. We have both full-time (40hrs/wk) and part-time (20hrs/wk) positions available. About the Role:
We're looking for skilled video editors to create high-quality content that aligns with our brand’s voice and engages our audience. Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is required. If you're passionate about crafting excellent videos, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content for social media, websites, and other platforms.
- Apply precise cuts, trims, and rearrangements to create professional-quality videos.
- Add visual and audio effects (graphics, sound effects, music, and captions) to enhance viewer experience.
- Perform color correction and grading for consistency across scenes.
- Sync and enhance audio and video for smooth continuity.
- Optimize content for YouTube's algorithm, focusing on viewer retention and engagement.
- Maintain branding, style, and messaging consistency across all projects.
- Organize, label, and manage video assets for an efficient workflow.
- Export and deliver final video files in required formats.
- Repurpose content for platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Stories, and more.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to align videos with overall strategy.
- Stay updated on video production trends and apply new techniques to our content.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of proven experience in video production, especially for YouTube or social media.
- Excellent video editing skills using DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of the video production process and workflow.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with YouTube and other social media platforms' best practices, SEO, algorithms, and metrics.
- Experience repurposing content for multiple platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of video codecs, compression, and optimization.
- Knowledge of color grading, correction techniques, and motion graphics.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Familiarity with Google Drive.
- Proven experience as a YouTube video editor, preferably for a long-form video channel.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video.
- Punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (do not apply if you do not use DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience in video editing, including B-roll, transitions, Magic Masking, and 3D composition.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills for handling multiple projects.
- Experience with long-form (10–20 minutes) and short-form video editing.
- Ability to optimize videos for different platforms and devices.
- A PC with a suitable GPU and specs to run DaVinci Resolve efficiently.
- Stable, wired internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download/upload speeds.
- Familiarity with Frame.io for project collaboration.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a willingness to learn quickly.

Nice to Have:
- Experience creating intros, outros, and CTAs for YouTube optimization.
- Knowledge of current trends in video editing, YouTube, and social media platforms.
- Occasionally assist with video shoot planning and offer input on improving video production processes.

Test Task and Compensation:
If selected, you’ll complete a test task involving a short video edit (approximately 4 hours). Compensation is $2.50 per hour ($10 total).
