Seeking a Virtual Assistant

We are a media company that owns several websites, and we’re looking for a virtual assistant to help with various tasks, including:

- Publishing articles in WordPress
- Keyword research through Ahrefs
- Familiar with using ChatGPT
- Filtering through data sets in Google Sheets using various formulas
- Creating content briefs through tools like Surfer SEO
- Reviewing checklists to ensure articles are written properly
- Social media posting
- And more

**You must be proficient in English, both in speaking and writing!!**

**You must have a good Internet connection. All of your work will require you to be on the web, so you need to have a reliable connection.**

Who are you?
- Have a HIGH attention to detail.
- Self Manage. You will be working remotely, and you must thrive on staying on task and focused.
- Eager and motivated to learn. This expanding business is growing rapidly, and we are learning how to do things better and faster every week.
- Include the words 'make 2024 great' in the first line of your 'past experience' form submission, which you will find below.
- Respond well to feedback. We won’t micro-manage you. However, we will be providing you with feedback to help you improve and constantly get better! We need someone open to constructive critique, along with praise!
- Strong communicator. Since this is a remote position, it's required that you have strong communication skills and are responsive to us during the hours you're working

What skills do you need?
- WordPress experience: You will receive articles from our writers and need to publish them to the proper website. This will include formatting, finding images, adding internal and external links, and some SEO work.
- Basic writing skills: While you will not be writing articles, as you add in links, you will likely need to adjust sentences so that the anchor text makes sense.
- SEO skills: Basic SEO knowledge is a bonus.
- Tech-savvy: You'll be using tools like Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, WP, Asana, Google Sheets, etc a lot. While you're not required to know all of these already, being able to pick them up quickly is important
- Keyword research: Using tools to find good keywords that a website could write articles about

Job Details:
- This is a part-time position (approx 20 hrs) that could quickly turn to full-time if you prove yourself.
- Flexible on working hours, if you clock the necessary hours between Monday and Sunday in each week.
- $3.00 USD per hour

We are looking for a long-term relationship. This position will continue to grow and provide new opportunities as the websites grow. We are looking for a hard worker, someone who is independent, and responds well to positive, constructive critique. We do not want someone who is not interested in a long-term job.
