Remote Accountant with US Tax Experience

Job Description:
We are looking for a Seasoned Accountant with Experience in US Tax Preparation to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing and reviewing US tax returns, including individual and business returns, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and correct financial reports generated from QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Handle bookkeeping tasks, including catch-up and clean-up work as needed.
Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
Develop tailored tax plans based on each client's unique financial situation.
Collaborate with the team to uncover tax-saving strategies and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws.
Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.
Support clients through tax audits and assist in resolving any books or tax-related issues.
Provide strategic advice to the team on tax planning opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure exceptional client service.

Requirements:
Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Extensive experience in US tax preparation (corporate and individual returns).
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enrolled Agent (EA) license is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
