Candidates interested in joining our team must meet certain criteria. Specifically, we require a minimum of 4+ years of Australian Public Accounting experience. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of Australian tax regulations and bookkeeping practices.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm PH time.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of accounting production, with a focus on preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements and tax obligations

In addition to being a team player, we are also looking for someone who takes initiative and can communicate effectively with their manager and colleagues.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Compiling annual tax returns and financial accounts for various entities, including:
individuals
sole traders
partnerships
companies; and
trusts.
Preparing monthly and quarterly business activity statements.
Handling monthly and quarterly payroll.
Participating in monthly company and taxation training sessions.

Skills Required:

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
CPA or CA accreditation (desirable).
Xero certified advisor and/or Xero payroll certified (desirable).
Very well organised and able to meet deadlines.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically while paying attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Experience working with complex group structures.
Proven experience in managing multiple clients and businesses.
A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and concepts.
Eager to learn, with a passion for staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in accounting and finance.
