Python Developer

Ayla is a personalized AI companion for older adults. Ayla helps older adults live independently by offering personalized reminders for daily tasks and casual conversation.

We're seeking a software engineer with Python experience to help build the product.

Our architecture is service-oriented and event-driven. Our stack uses:
Python 3.11
Pydantic
FastAPI
LangChain
Redis
Mongo
Milvus

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python applications.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
Test and document code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Collaborate with the team to design software architecture and solutions.
Implement integrations with third-party services and APIs.

Ideal Requirements. If you don’t know these, we can teach you.
Knowledge of Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI and Pydantic).
Knowledge of LLMs and GenAI tools (e.g. OpenAI, Groq, LangChain)
Knowledge of container and deployment tools (e.g. CI/CD, Docker)
Knowledge of the senior care industry: Familiarity with the assisted living, home health, or adult daycare industries.

Must Have Requirements. If you don’t have these, we probably won’t be a good fit.
Experience writing python applications
Experience working with databases
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Github)
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Curiosity to learn
Startup mentality. Drive to build fast.
