Professional Video Editor long format (Website, Youtube, blogs)

Looking for a well-experience long format (horizontal) video editor to edit long format videos for embedding on website and social media for blogs (Youtube, facebook). There will be various videos for edit (5 - 10 minutes short blogs, 30 minutes - 1 hour interviews, short testimonials) and training material. Video’s are - customer testimonials, services offered, blogs for newsletters, interviews and training.

For a health and wellness professional, business, focus on counselling, coaching, healing, spiritual and business background. Will provide a few test videos to edit initially. I currently have 5 videos of various 5 minutes to 40 minutes. And opportunities for more. With series of videos blogs to follow. My aim is to film in bundles (a few blogs, interviews) at a time, submit them for video editing to embed on social media content throughout the year. There will be a few blocks, bundles of video's to edit throughout the year.

Ideally, if good job is done of the initial videos, I would like to have a video editor to be my go to person for other content and blocks of work throughout the year.

Skills:
• Minimum 3 years Experience post Video Editor
• Proficient in editing for best quality film, clean sound, cut, paste, clipping, mixing, captions, B rolls, background music, adding video to sound recordings
• Proficient with post-production video editing programs (Adobe Premium Pro/ Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficient in removing background noise and increasing speakers voice volume
• Proficient smooth transitions between screens and joining clips
• Experience video body edit and video background
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
• Experience to be able to edit short and long format horizontal video 5 - 10 minutes efficiently (within few hours)
• Experience to be able to edit long video 30 - 1 hour efficiently
• Experience to be able to remove unwanted background noise, ums/ahs
• Experience improving and correcting lighting, colour and faulty footage
• Experience in splicing film, video and synchronising into one video
• Ability to capture and craft the story with softness and heart-felt feeling of health and wellbeing
• Creative and artistic skills
• Ability to identify and suggest ways enhance look of video – creates exciting, engaging, fresh and professional
• Ability suggest options to get best results in pre-filming to better support post-editing
• Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal
• Use licence music or background video footage (satisfy Youtube copyright checks)
• Provide Portfolio of previous video editing work (view)

Experience and knowledge crafting videos, editing photos for social media platforms (website, Youtube, facebook, Instagram, audio/Podcast, websites) and creating motion graphics and thumbnail design is an advantage.
Experience or background in editing film production, TV, cinema, photos is a plus.

Suitable for:
• Anyone looking for some extra bit of work on the side, part-timer or freelancer would suit well. As I expand there will be opportunity for more.
• Must have video editing experience in full screen horizontal long format, not just reels or tiktok vertical format
• Must have Fast Speed download and upload internet access
• All work must be completed by the applicant themselves, not subcontracted out to other people
• This is not a full-time or part-time role, it will be bundles of work that will provide a few times throughout the year

Not suitable for:
• if you only have reels and tikok vertical short format experience with no in-depth experience in long format
