We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling video ads and video sales letters (VSLs) for various social media platforms, with a focus on direct response marketing and motion graphics.
Key Responsibilities
-Create engaging video ads and sales videos using provided voiceovers, incorporating animated text, captions, and dynamic motion graphics
-Design and implement high-quality motion graphics to enhance video content and convey complex information visually
-Edit talking head videos to enhance engagement and impact
-Handle various video editing tasks, including tweaking existing videos and repurposing footage
-Collaborate with the team using tools like
-Implement a "batch" approach to video creation and editing for efficient feedback and revision processes
-Provide creative input and suggestions while adhering to guidelines and requirements
-Source relevant footage and images that resonate with our target market
-Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of video production, from spelling in captions to file naming conventions
-Adapt videos for various platforms and size requirements (landscape, portrait, etc.)
-Select appropriate music styles aligned with the tone and message of the script
-Create and maintain a library of reusable motion graphic elements for consistent branding across videos
Requirements
-Proven experience (5+ years) in video editing and motion graphics, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on social media ads and sales videos
-Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
-Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, and other motion graphics software
-Strong understanding of motion design principles, typography, and animation techniques
-Ability to create engaging and on-brand motion graphics that effectively communicate marketing messages
-Proficiency in creating both 2D and 3D motion graphics as needed for various projects
-Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles and techniques
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and versions efficiently
-In-depth knowledge of best practices for optimizing videos and motion graphics across various social media platforms
-Ability to adapt to different video styles and apply company preferences consistently
-Strong communication skills and proactive work ethic
-Capable of working independently and managing tasks without constant supervision
-Positive attitude towards feedback and ability to offer constructive alternative suggestions
