Digital Marketer who loves spirituality and technology

Hi! We’re looking for someone who loves self-help books, spirituality, and digital marketing to help us promote, maintain, and grow the business.

These books and services target women aged 35–65+ in North America who are looking to spiritually awaken and discover the power of mindfulness, higher wisdom, higher purpose, and higher consciousness.

We need a Digital Marketer with a strong focus on marketing and website technology, and potentially course creation and YouTube management/assistance. Interest in self-discovery and spirituality is a must.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

REQUIRED - EMAIL MARKETING AND AUTOMATION:

- Write authentic email copy and content in fluent American English for thank you emails, upsell emails, and other associated emails in the author's voice

- Manage and optimize email marketing campaigns using MailerLite, including designing email sequences, optimizing sign-ups and opt-ins, and creating automated follow-ups

- Produce email marketing promotions that can potentially cross into social media marketing, and track campaign performance

- Set up and integrate email marketing sequences with sales and payment systems like Stripe

- Design/modify images in Canva or other design software to match brand guidelines for any required email graphics. Brand consistency is important

- Produce and create marketing campaigns in advance so we can review them together

- Research how other authors and spiritual leaders market their books and services through platforms and share potential ideas during team meeting (Let's bounce ideas off each other and see what works and doesn't work!)


REQUIRED - WEBSITE MANAGEMENT:

- Manage and update WordPress, including adding new pages, blogs, and products using the Beaver Builder plugin, to the owners liking

- Integrate Book-Like-a-Boss or similar scheduling tools, and any necessary shopping cart software

- Optimize the site for SEO and user experience, particularly focusing on the client’s products (Books, courses, meditations)

- Experience with other website hosting platforms may be useful, like Squarespace, etc. However, ideally, we need someone who can help us work with what we have now and later help us experiment with other platforms that would best work for all of us. :)


After we get to know each other, you might be responsible for helping us with the below (if you’d like, have the know-how, or are willing to learn!):

- Assist with other marketing campaigns
- Help with product building, marketing, launch and management
- Help with course creation, development, maintenance

BONUS - CONTENT CREATION AND VIDEO EDITING:
- Edit videos for YouTube, including adding thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and marketing notes, for full optimization and marketing advantages
- Assist in building a YouTube channel to promote angel messages and increase audience reach
- Help repurpose video content into other formats (Social media snippets, blog posts, etc)


SOFTWARE TOOLS WE USE AND NEED YOUR HELP WITH:

- WordPress, Beaver Builder, etc

- Mailerlite and other email management programs

- Asana for everyday project coordination, chat, and reference

- Canva

- Grammarly

- Google Workspace: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets

- Dropbox

- Zoom

- Potentially other website/course hosting platforms like Squarespace and New Zenler


HOURS AND AVAILABILITY

Part-time, with the opportunity to move up to full-time, if the business becomes more profitable.

Flexible hours - You can work wherever and whenever you want. Your employer is located in the US. You can also communicate with and will be supported by our social media + team manager located in the Philippines.

You must have a good internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free space for our team meetings. Our employer usually meets once a week on Wednesday or Thursday morning PH time. However, you may have voice/video meetings with our social media manager on other days. Our communication is in English.


SOFT SKILL / OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Have a love of self-help books and spirituality. We’d appreciate it if you were at least open to the ideas and love for spirit guides, angel guides, higher consciousness!

- Have excellent communication. This is a must. It’s better to overcommunicate than undercommunicate.

- Have a willingness to follow current systems and directions, while also voicing your backed up expertise and ideas

- Be fluent in written and spoken English

- Be willing to show up on calls and on camera for any team meetings

- Have a stable internet Internet connection

- Have a desktop or laptop, plus a headset and camera for audio & video

- Have access to a quiet, distraction-free working area for team meetings


Ultimately, we are in need of someone who can demonstrate effectiveness in marketing, navigate and leverage the associated technology, and be open to spirituality, angels, and higher wisdom.
