Job Title: Candidate Success Manager (Remote Recruiter) with Product Owner Responsibilities for ALT Digital Vaani Platform
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract (20 hours/ week starting to 40 hours/ week in 3 months)
About Us: ALT Digital, is a newly formed Talent firm Based in the US focused on providing tech talent to Startup firms (Series, A, B, C D+) across all industries. We are also in the process of building our own Platform ( called VAANI). It is a sophisticated recruitment product designed to streamline the hiring process for startups across various verticals. We're looking for a dynamic Candidate Success Manager who will also take on Product Owner responsibilities, focusing on enhancing candidate experiences, ensuring successful placements, and driving the development of the VAANI Platform.
VAANI Platform Definition: The VAANI Platform is a cutting-edge recruitment technology to revolutionize how startups and tech companies approach hiring. It aims to provide an efficient, transparent, and user-friendly experience for both recruiters, client hiring managers and candidates by focusing on the person-first approach and by ditching the resume- first process.
Responsibilities:
• Candidate Engagement: Actively manage and engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience from application to onboarding.
• Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust candidate pipeline tailored for startups in diverse industries, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality candidates.
• Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with the team to devise recruitment strategies that align with the unique needs of startup clients, leveraging the capabilities of the VAANI Platform.
• Platform Utilization: Expertly use the VAANI Platform ( in conjunction with job sites) for sourcing, screening, and managing candidates, providing feedback for continuous improvement of the platform.
• Client Liaison: Work closely with startup clients to understand their hiring needs, culture, and expectations, ensuring candidate matches are both skilled and culturally fit.
• Performance Metrics: Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction, using these insights to refine recruitment strategies.
• Product Owner Responsibilities for VAANI Platform:
o Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the vision for the VAANI Platform, aligning it with the broader business goals of ALT Digital.
o Requirement Gathering: Act as a key point of contact for helping build requirement to inform platform development.
o Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts focus on features that add the most value to the recruitment process.
o Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to guide the development team towards meeting business objectives.
o Feature Definition: Work with the development team to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure that new features align with the strategic goals of the platform.
o Feedback Loop: Implement a system for gathering and acting on user feedback to continuously improve the VAANI Platform.
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in a remote or tech-heavy environment, with a track record of successful placements in startup settings. Experience or understanding of product management or product ownership is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with technology, especially SaaS platforms for recruitment. Experience with ATS systems
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade candidates, clients, and development teams effectively.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze recruitment data and product feedback to make informed decisions and optimize processes.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work with startups across different sectors, understanding their unique challenges and needs, and adapting product features accordingly.
• Self-Starter: Capable of working independently in a remote setting, managing time effectively, and showing initiative in candidate sourcing, engagement, and product development.
