***Prior experience as specifically as a Podcast Editor is a major plus, but not required.




Job Details:
We are looking to fill a Podcast Editor role who can deliver high-quality edits with quick turnarounds and excellent client communication. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Capcut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar editing tools with a proven ability to add engaging music, sound effects, and on-screen graphics. Being an expert in at least one of these tools is sufficient. This role requires someone who can create visually compelling content for social media, including selecting and editing shorter clips to maximize engagement.

We are a podcast team in Los Angeles, California.



Key Responsibilities:
-Edit podcast episodes for clarity, flow, and quality.
-Add music, sound effects, and on-screen graphics to enhance the final product.
-Create short form video/audio clips optimized for social media platforms and distribute them across multiple platforms
-Work collaboratively with the team to align with the podcast’s vision and brand.
-Respond promptly to communication and meet deadlines consistently.




Detailed Qualifications:
-Proficiency in either Capcut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects or similar editing/creation tools is a must.
-Strong understanding of audio and video editing principles.
-Experience with music selection, sound effects, and adding on-screen graphics.
-Demonstrated ability to identify and create impactful short clips for social media.
-Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.




Technical Qualifications:
-Proficient in English
-Must have a good internet connection
-Must have a computer
-Google suite proficient: gmail, sheets, docs, slides, etc.



Salary and Details:
This is a part-time work from home role for a U.S. company: 20 hours per week.

The hours are Mon-Fri 8am-12pm PST (Pacific standard time). That is a 16 hour time difference from you-12am-4am Philippine time would be the converted schedule for you.

The pay is $5 an hour to start.

On average, 3-6 major U.S. holidays paid time off: (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.)

3 paid sick/vacation days after a 3-month probationary period (this is on top of the major holidays listed above).

Guaranteed 1 year raise (minimum 10%-20%).

***Important: if you have another job that conflicts with this schedule, please do not apply. Your screen will be tracked (Time Doctor software) so when it is discovered that you are working 2 jobs during the same schedule, you will end up wasting your time and ours.

Start date: sometime around late December or right at the start of January. A set date will be provided after interviewing.

You will be an independent contractor. You will get paid via Payoneer twice a month.
