JOB OVERVIEW

Plant Addicts is dedicated to delivering exceptional online experiences for our customers, and we're looking for a talented Senior BigCommerce Web Developer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of BigCommerce, web development & E-commerce best practices, and the ability to work remotely to deliver high-quality solutions.

This is a full time contractor position working from home with a flexible schedule.

Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom BigCommerce themes and integrations.

Develop and implement custom features, modules, and integrations to enhance the functionality and performance of our e-commerce platform.

Monitor and optimize website performance, including load times, Core Web Vitals, responsiveness, & overall user experience.

Identify & resolve technical issues, bugs, & performance problems in a timely manner.

Ensure code quality through thorough testing, debugging, and documentation.

Provide technical guidance and strategy for long-term IT success

Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to BigCommerce and e-commerce development.

Required Qualifications & Skills
8+ years of experience in web development, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience with BigCommerce.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with BigCommerce's Stencil framework and API integration is essential.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.

Demonstrated experience with successful BigCommerce projects, showcasing your ability to develop and customize e-commerce solutions.

Fluent in English
