Senior Graphic Designer

Stratus Financial, LLC is currently seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing Team as Senior Graphic Designer. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design team, creating and overseeing visual design solutions, and ensuring consistency in designs across multiple platforms. You will report directly to and work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and be integrated into our cross-functional marketing team.

At Stratus, we believe in helping aspiring student pilots at all levels of experience and training achieve their dreams of flight. We do this by providing loans at reasonable rates and flexible payment plans to students who want to become pilots, flight instructors, etc.

You will lead a team of dedicated loan servicing professionals and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure efficient and accurate loan processing, payment posting, and customer service.

Responsibilities
o Lead and mentor design team members
o Develop and implement visual design concepts, graphics, and layouts
o Ensure design solutions meet user needs, brand standards, and industry best practices
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams
o Manage design projects from concept to delivery, including timelines
o Present design solutions and communicate design thinking to stakeholders
o Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies

Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in visual design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
o Demonstrated ability to lead and manage design projects
o Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
o Proven proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite-InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, PowerPoint, Sketch, and Figma
o Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
o Interest in aviation is a bonus, but not a requirement


Work Hours:
8:00 am – 5:00 pm Pacific Time
