We are seeking a dynamic and experienced App Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive the growth and success of our apps.
Position Overview:
As an App Marketing Specialist at Travelshift, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to increase the visibility, downloads, and user engagement of our apps. You will work closely with our product, design, and content teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Your expertise in app marketing will be instrumental in achieving our business goals and enhancing the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive app marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for Guide to Iceland and Guide to Europe.
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, search engines, app stores,
App Store Optimization (ASO): Optimize app store listings to improve visibility and conversion rates, including keyword research, metadata optimization, and A/B testing.
Push Notifications: Develop and manage push notification campaigns to engage users with personalized and timely updates.
Geo-location Marketing: Utilize geo-location data to create targeted marketing campaigns that deliver relevant content and offers to users based on their location.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze app performance metrics, user behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness. Provide regular reports and insights to guide decision-making.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, design, and content, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our app marketing strategies.
Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI from campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in app marketing, preferably in the travel or technology industry.
Skills: Strong knowledge of app marketing strategies, including ASO, paid user acquisition, user engagement tactics, push notifications, and geo-location marketing.
Analytical Abilities: Proficient in using analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance and user behavior.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
Creativity: Innovative thinker with a passion for creating engaging and effective marketing campaigns.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
