Role Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, reliable, and seasoned Senior Loan Underwriter and Processor to manage and oversee the loan processing cycle for various loan types, including Fix and Flip, Ground Up Construction, DSCR loans, Gator Loans, EMD loans, Transactional loans, and Gap Funding Loans. This role demands strong underwriting expertise, leadership qualities, and the ability to drive the loan process from start to finish with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff and ensuring the highest standards of loan processing and underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

Complex Loan Underwriting & Processing: Lead the end-to-end loan processing and underwriting cycle, handling complex or higher-value loan applications and ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry standards.
Client & Counterparty Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, capital providers, loan buyers, and third-party service providers.
Loan Applications: Take loan applications over the phone, pre-screen with capital providers, and provide term sheets to clients.
Utilize CRM & Loan Portals: Manage and track loan applications and client interactions using CRM systems like HubSpot, and become familiar with multiple loan portals.
Coordination & Compliance: Coordinate with underwriters, gap funders, title companies, and investors to ensure smooth loan processing. Stay informed about the latest regulations and ensure all activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide leadership within the team, mentor junior underwriters and processors, and lead by example in problem-solving and decision-making.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized loan records, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
Essential Requirements:

Reliability & Punctuality: A consistent, dependable work ethic with a strong emphasis on punctuality and reliability.
Common Sense & Problem-Solving: Ability to use practical judgment, solve problems effectively, and think creatively outside the box.
Fluency in English: Strong reading and writing skills in English are a must.
Equipment: Must have access to multiple monitors, reliable high-speed internet, and a backup generator to ensure uninterrupted work.
Leadership Potential: We are looking for that one applicant who can grow into a leadership role, guiding processes and contributing to the company’s success.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in loan underwriting and processing, preferably in private lending or real estate.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM systems.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to listen, take notes, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and systems.
Salary:

Entry-Level: $630 to $900 per month
Mid-Level: $900 to $1,350 per month
Senior-Level: $1,350 to $1,800+ per month
