Email Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION
At Open House Media, we work with eCommerce brands, SaaS companies, and Influencers from around the world, helping to grow their business with email marketing.

As an Email Designer, you will be working closely with an incredible team as the point person for designing incredible emails, covering a group of 10-15 of our clients.

The main responsibilities for an Email Designer include digesting brand information to capture the brand vibe and visuals, to then craft an email design for the client’s email flows and campaigns.

You will be working closely with an incredibly talented team of marketers, designers, and account managers to ensure accounts are properly cared for.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clients will update you with information on their brand (so you can effectively capture the brand vibe) as well as their future marketing plans
- You’ll manage the process of setting up a few email design templates when we sign a new client
- You'll then update the design template with new copy and styling as we create new emails on an ongoing basis
- You'll communicate with team members for approvals and work instructions
- You'll be vocal with your department head on your bandwidth, insight, thoughts, opinions, dreams, and more because you want to grow in your role, reach your optimal potential, and comfortably (frazzle-free!) bring only your best to the table
- You'll be responsive via Slack for team collaboration and communication to crush the day-to-day!
- You'll show up ready to take on each day with effective time management
- Minor video editing tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS
- Fluency in English required
- Design experience required; you should preferably have email design experience
- You will NOT need to create emails with HTML code
- You should be able to use the Figma design platform
- Basic video editing skills
- Experience with Auto Layout and Components in Figma
