Procurement Specialist

We are a leading commodity distributor in the US. We are looking for an assertive and self motivated worker to join our team. Previous experience in cold calling or a similar role is preferred but not required. Role is from 9-5 PM EST with additional hours upon request if necessary due to busy season. Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and fluent English-speaking Cold Calling Specialist. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the various states in the US and have the ability to negotiate pricing and organize a list of pricing for the commodities we sell across different cities. You will play a crucial role in arranging suppliers to fulfill our loads, negotiating deals, and following up on leads through phone calls and emails.

Key Responsibilities:
-Make outbound cold calls to potential suppliers and clients to negotiate pricing and gather necessary information.
-Organize and maintain a detailed list of pricing for our commodities across different cities in every state.
-Arrange suppliers for our commodities to ensure timely fulfillment of loads.
-Follow up with suppliers and clients through email to confirm details and negotiate terms.
-Use independent thinking to solve problems and follow directions with minimal questions.
-Work efficiently to obtain information quickly and accurately.
-Maintain organized records of all interactions and negotiations.

Requirements:
-VERY fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
-Familiarity with the different states and cities in the US.
-Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle pricing discussions confidently.
-Highly organized with the ability to manage and update detailed pricing lists.
-Comfortable making cold calls and following up through email.
-Ability to follow directions precisely and think independently.
-Must be able to work 5 days a week, from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
