businesses? At Insogna CPA, we’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who
thrives on advising small business owners. This role helps facilitate our controller team advising
our valued clients acting as part-controller, part-business coach, part-tax strategist, and part-
accounting expert. You will help manage many business clients across various industries.

Developing and maintaining key advisory relationships with clients is a crucial part of your role.
You will help clients grow their businesses through cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, revenue
modeling, financial & industry analysis, cost-reduction strategies, accounting efficiency
improvements, business processes, and general business and personal issues. You’ll also bring
that special touch of a business coach that entrepreneurs rely on to grow their businesses and
personal wealth.

Our accounting team supports much of the back-end work that you will present to clients via
screen sharing and Zoom. As we continue to grow, there will be opportunities to train and
develop additional client advisors, with potential leadership roles on the horizon.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
? Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and various
metrics to understand and communicate the state of a client’s business.
? Audit reconciled financials, ensuring all journal entries are accurate to reflect the most
up-to-date net taxable income.
? Manage accounting projects, including building the appropriate Chart of Accounts, re-
reconciling transactions from prior periods, and constructing financial statements in third-
party apps.
? Utilize strong Excel skills and app stacking experience to optimize financial reporting.
? Maintain a high level of organization and record-keeping, working through multiple
checklists monthly to meet each client’s financial needs.
? Be open to trying new financial metric ideas and adapting to change.
? Proactively engage with various businesses, bringing fresh, innovative thinking to each
client’s unique situation.
? Collaborate effectively with Client Accounting Teams and other departments to gather
necessary data for reporting purposes.
? Confidently communicate and take notes during web-based meetings with clients and
coworkers.
? Welcome direction from supervisors and remain flexible when daily tasks shift due to
time-sensitive demands.

WORKING HOURS:
Full time position (40 hours/week); For the initial 6 months, we need you on deck from 9-4 PM. After we’re confident and trusting of you, we're open (based on mgmt. approval) to find a flexible schedule that works for everyone.
