Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in leading client engagements, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Knowledge of platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other similar software is essential for this role.

We also handle property management clients, knowledge in AppFolio, Streamline, or Breezeway is a PLUS but not required.

Responsibilities:

Oversee client accounting engagements, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and tax filings.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic financial insights and recommendations to support their business objectives.
Lead and mentor junior teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
Utilize QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other accounting software platforms to manage client accounts efficiently and accurately.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and deliver value-added services to clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates with Big 4 experience.
Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other accounting software platforms.
Proven track record of successfully managing client engagements and delivering high-quality financial services.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and collaborate effectively with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and clients.

Our working hours structured as follows:

First shift: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (PH time)
Break period
Second shift: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM (to overlap with our US-based clients)

There may be occasional schedule adjustments for client meetings, but this is not a daily occurrence. We also understand the need for personal errands as long as they are communicated in advance, and we compensate for any approved overtime hours.
