Construction project manager and estimator

Job Responsibilities: We’re seeking a diligent Estimator/Project manger to prepare accurate project estimates and analyze key metrics to support profitable business decisions.
Understand project requirements and key cost variables.
Conduct risk assessments.
Oversee project stages to ensure expenses align with forecasts.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and reports.
Prepare take-offs, liaise with suppliers and sub contractors, and compile quotes.
Run schedule of works and keep track of running progress on projects

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 years of Estimator or Project management experience in an Australian company for construction.
Sound understanding Australian construction methods and NCC 2022, and relevant building codes.
Familiarity with construction software (Buildexact, PlanSwift, Excel).
Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to read architectural and structural drawings and be able understand scope of works
