JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Email Marketing Specialist with expertise in Klaviyo to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email marketing strategy, customer segmentation, and automation, with a keen focus on maximizing customer lifetime value (LTV) and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that enhance customer engagement, retention, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
Klaviyo Setup & Management:

Manage and optimize the Klaviyo platform, including email list management, segmentation, and automation workflows.
Ensure all email campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively, with proper A/B testing, tracking, and reporting.

Email
Campaign Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies to increase customer engagement, retention, and LTV.
Design, build, and manage email campaigns, including promotional campaigns, newsletters, drip campaigns, and triggered emails.
Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure email templates are visually appealing, responsive, and align with brand guidelines.
Customer Segmentation & Personalization:

Segment email lists based on customer behavior, demographics, and purchase history to deliver targeted and personalized email content.
Use dynamic content and personalization techniques to increase relevance and engagement of email communications.
Automation & Lifecycle Campaigns:

Create and manage automation workflows, including welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, post-purchase follow-ups, and win-back campaigns.
Continuously optimize lifecycle campaigns to maximize conversions and LTV.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:

Track and analyze key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue per email, etc.) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
Generate regular reports to share insights and recommendations for improving campaign performance.
A/B Testing & Optimization:

Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, design, and send times to optimize email performance.
Implement findings from A/B tests to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Compliance & Best Practices:

Ensure all email campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
Stay up-to-date with email marketing best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to keep campaigns fresh and effective.
Customer Retention & LTV Enhancement:

Develop strategies to enhance customer retention and increase LTV, including loyalty programs, referral campaigns, and upsell/cross-sell initiatives.
Use customer data and analytics to identify opportunities for improving retention and increasing repeat purchases.
Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment on email marketing strategies and goals.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of campaign performance and progress.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist, preferably with expertise in Klaviyo.
Strong understanding of email marketing principles, including segmentation, automation, personalization, and LTV optimization.
Proficiency in using Klaviyo for campaign management, automation, and reporting.
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimization techniques.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.
Familiarity with compliance regulations such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
Strong analytical skills and experience with email marketing analytics tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
