Remote Video Editor for Website/Social Media

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing, editing, and optimizing video content for our websites and social media platforms across multiple brands. You will work closely with our marketing, design, and content teams to create engaging and visually appealing videos that align with our brand identity and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and produce high-quality videos for websites, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), and other digital channels.
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand project goals, target audience, and desired outcomes.
Transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos that tell a compelling story.
Add graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality and audience engagement.
Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel.
Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, ensuring they meet technical requirements and best practices.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all video content.
Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and tools to continuously improve video production quality.
Provide creative input during the pre-production and planning stages of video projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably for websites and social media content.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, color correction, audio mixing, and exporting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
Knowledge of social media platforms and their specific video requirements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
Basic knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
Understanding of SEO and video optimization for search engines.
Experience working with remote teams and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
