About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Social Media Strategist & Video Editor who can take full ownership of our social media content, engagement, and brand presence. This is not a simple "post and go" role. We need someone who:
- Understands both strategy and execution—knows how to create content that converts, engages, and drives results.
Is highly skilled in short-form video editing—can turn raw footage into high-impact Reels and TikToks that stand out.
- Can direct content creation—provides clear guidance on what to film, how to film it, and what type of content will perform best.
- Knows how to plan and manage content calendars—ensures a consistent, structured approach to posting.
Works independently and takes initiative—problem-solves rather than waits for instructions.
- This role is for someone who understands content strategy, video editing, and brand growth and can contribute directly to elevating our social media presence.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Content Planning
- Develop a structured monthly content plan aligned with our brand goals.
- Research and implement trends, engagement strategies, and video styles that will perform well on Instagram and TikTok.
- Suggest effective hooks, captions, and content formats to drive audience interaction.
- Optimize posts for maximum reach and visibility (hashtags, timing, SEO-friendly captions).
- Video Editing & Content Creation
- Edit high-quality, engaging Reels & TikToks with a strong focus on storytelling, pacing, and visuals.
- Create content that grabs attention in the first three seconds and keeps viewers engaged.
- Add on-brand captions, transitions, sound effects, and engaging motion graphics to enhance content.
- Ensure all video content is aligned with Mondän’s aesthetic and brand voice.
- Content Direction & Collaboration
- Provide clear guidance on what types of video content need to be recorded (angles, movements, styles).
- Create shot lists and filming instructions to streamline content production.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure video content feels natural and engaging, rather than overly polished or scripted.
- Analytics & Growth Strategy
- Track content performance metrics (views, engagement, shares, and saves).
- Provide insights and data-driven recommendations for improving content.
- Adjust the content strategy based on what works and what doesn’t to continuously grow engagement.
Who We Are Looking For

- You are only comfortable with basic video editing without strategic input.
- You cannot work EST hours (Midnight - 6 AM PH Time).
- You are looking for a simple posting job without creative strategy.
- You require constant direction and do not take initiative.
Must Have:
- At least two years of experience in social media strategy and video editing.
- A portfolio showcasing past social media content (Reels, TikToks, content calendars).
- Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, and storytelling in video content.
- Ability to both strategize and execute video editing and content planning.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of the role.
Bonus (Not Required, But Preferred):
- Experience with content scheduling tools such as Ocoya, Metricool, or Later.
- Knowledge of brand positioning and social media engagement tactics.
