Position Title: Framing Estimator (Light Gauge Metal Framing)
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary: $5 to $7/hour

A Framing Estimator specializing in Light Gauge Metal Framing is responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for construction projects involving light gauge metal framing systems. The role involves detailed analysis of project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine the quantity and cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed.

Qualifications:

Education: A degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as an estimator, preferably with expertise in light gauge metal framing projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PlanSwift and other construction estimating software.
Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities to calculate costs accurately.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates and project documentation.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve any issues during the estimation process.
Additional Considerations:
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with various construction materials and methods, particularly in light gauge metal framing.
