Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Unit Financial Management: Manage and maintain financial records for multiple units, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Margin Analysis: Conduct thorough margin edge analysis to identify areas of improvement and ensure profitability.
- QuickBooks Enterprise: Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise software for accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Corporate Structures & Roll-Up: Understand and manage complex corporate structures and roll-up processes.
- Intercompany Transactions:
*Handle intercompany transfers, adjustments, and activities efficiently.
*Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
- Month-End Close: Perform month-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and reconciliation of accounts.
- Loan Management: Post interest and principal payments for bank loans accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, particularly in a multi-unit setting within the food and beverage industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Solid understanding of corporate financial structures and roll-up procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex intercompany transactions.
- Strong knowledge of US federal tax codes and federal law. (Required)
- Comfort with researching and interpreting state-specific financial regulations.
