JOB OVERVIEW

This role is for a software development company - we are not after any landing page designs, graphic designs or website portfolios.

If you are experienced working with developers and using Figma features such as autolayout, variants and dev mode, you should keep readiing.

You should be familiar with creating mobile, tablet, and desktop variants of user flow to best support our developers.

Understanding design systems, clear documentation of how a user moves from screen to screen, and being able to build interactive prototypes are some of the things that come natural to you.

Seeing messy Figma designs with multiple versions of the same page, scattered layouts and irrelevant content should be the nightmares you avoid from working with bad clients and poorly managed teams that don't understand your brilliance.

We do.

You're a unicorn, and we've been waiting for you...

Organising a complete app from concept to final production frames are not something you're just good at - it's what you live for.

Excited? We are too - you should apply for this job with at least "10 Apply Points" so we know you're serious.

You might be wondering at this stage, who is this company, and why is this ad capturing my interest and attention?

Well, we're a growth focused agency that loves marketing - our founder (the guy writing this ad) likes to do things differently, and for this reason, our clients stick with us long term. So do our team members, and we're considering making you one of them...

We have a handful of projects that span across web apps, tv apps and mobile apps. You'll get access and experience contributing to our existing client projects and potentially spearheading the design and conceptualisation of our own products.

You coworkers are all based in the Philippines and most clients are in Australia or USA. Currently we have 13 people, and we're looking for #14 - is that you?

When you apply, here's a few tips to make sure you give yourself the best chance of an interview.

1. Send figma links, not behance or dribbble links
2. Send your resume, so we can see your experience
3. Put some effort into your application message / cover letter
4. Mention a kangaroo (this shows you pay attention to detail)
6. Know your work in Figma links is the best way to demonstrate you're right for the job
7. Be prepared for a test task that can be done in under 3 hours
8. I think that's enough, follow all of that and respond when we reach out, you're in the top 1%

Pay will be determined on experience

I put a mistake in this write up also - if we can count on you to spot it, call it out in your cover letter and you'll get extra points :D
