JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Sales Virtual Assistant

BANTUFY is a film entertainment company that is passionate about community and aims to reinvigorate the cultural trajectory of BIPOC groups in media. We create a space for the marginalized to cultivate culture and community through film and educational programming.

We’re looking for a dedicated Sales Virtual Assistant who will work cross-functionally to creatively generate leads, pitch services, Manage CRM, develop strategy that onboards, engages, and retains potential and current clients. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that the company can successfully book its services with a designated clientele. In addition, you will submit grants to organizations and keep an eye on competitive companies in the marketplace so we can stay ahead of competition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead generation - Finding potential clients, collecting their contact information, and qualifying leads based on target criteria
Appointment scheduling - Managing calendars, scheduling appointments with clients and prospects, and sending reminders and confirmations
Customer outreach - Contacting customers via email or social media to introduce products or services and build relationships
CRM updating - Managing CRM tools and handling customer requests
Sales assistance - Preparing and assisting with sales reports that use information collected into CRM to help track sales team performance.
Grant writing - Organizing and submitting grant applications from pre-written copy.
Conducting market research: better comprehend, identify and understand client behaviors.
Reviewing our former work: films, scripts, grant applications to ascertain areas of strength and weakness, which could inform subsequent outputs
Business Management - Building out Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks, Managing and executing email marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities and other business management tasks.
Client Service - Creating message templates, answering client questions


REQUIREMENTS

Fluent English (at least B2)
Bachelor's degree
Proficient OR quick learner in working with Excel, Pipedrive CRM, Calendly, Linkedin
Prior database management experience, preferably in a similar role
Strong copywriting and copyediting abilities
Ability to follow trends and understand the type of content that drives engagement
Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
Customer service orientation and problem solving skills
Effective communication and organization skills
Fast Internet

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary - $3 USD/hr (plus monthly performance bonuses.)
Part time position - To grow into Full time
Remote work year-round
Paid National Holidays (to negotiate)
Professional development

This will be a remotely administered PART TIME [20 hr/week] position with intention to grow to FULL TIME [40 hr/week] with an immediate starting date upon hire. You will need a quiet workspace with fast internet, a webcam, and a microphone for video.
