Motion Graphics Specialist

Are you an After Effects Rockstar? Then we want YOU! Our After Effects Specialist will be working mainly on creating motion graphics for short documentaries about geopolitics. Your primary job will be to create beautiful motion graphics for these documentaries. What You’ll Do 1. Create engaging motion graphics for geopolitics documentaries for mini documentaries for online distribution on websites such as YouTube 2. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality and innovation of motion graphics production. 3. Utilize advanced animation techniques to bring static designs to life. 4. Maintain and organize an extensive library of digital assets, including animations, graphics, and templates. 5. Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the overall visual impact of projects. 6. Work fast with a tight-knit team of video editors, producers, and designers to concept, present, and execute new work. 7. Create new digital assets in Canva, Photoshop, and Midjourney for use in motion graphics 8. Find news footage and stock footage that suits the current project What You’ll Need: 1. Ability to animate 2D and 3D content for mini documentaries with expertise in motion design and dynamic typography. 2. Proven experience in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field. 3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop) and other industry-standard motion graphics software. 4. Strong interest in motion geopolitics / history 5. Interest in using AI to advance your craft, with a keen understanding of its applications in motion design; ie. Midjourney and Stable Diffusion. 6. Strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and design aesthetics. 7. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, creative environment and effectively communicate ideas. 8. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. 9. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 10. Experience using Geolayers 3 plugin for Adobe After Effects is a plus, but not required. 11. Previous experience creating YouTube videos is a plus, but not required. 12. Nice-to-have: experience with 3D animation software (e.g. Cinema 4D, Blender) and/or AI tools such as Runway ML, Pica, and enthusiasm for exploring emerging cutting-edge AI technology such as Sora into your workflow.
