JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing electrical systems and components for various construction projects. This role involves ensuring all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations while meeting project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
Develop electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations of proposed electrical systems.

Project Management:
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate electrical designs with overall project plans.
Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all electrical installations comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems and equipment.

Technical Support:
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during construction.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and construction technologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
