Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. As a crucial member of our firm, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute by delivering exceptional accounting and tax services to our diverse client base. While prior tax experience is not mandatory, a willingness to learn and grow in this area is essential.

Responsibilities:

-Perform accurate and timely bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
-Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
-Collaborate with clients to collect necessary financial information and provide guidance on financial matters.
-Learn and support the preparation and filing of tax returns
-Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
-Working with junior team members.

Qualifications:
-Familiarity with basic accounting and tax principles
-Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms is beneficial.
-No prior tax experience is required but it is beneficial
-A strong willingness to learn and grow is essential.
-Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify errors and discrepancies.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
-High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
-Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
-Must be comfortable using TimeProof.
-Ability to lead a team
