Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with a strong background in CakePHP, along with comprehensive skills in both front-end and back-end IT support. This role requires a deep understanding of websites and related platforms. API integration is also a must have skill that will enable us to enhance our digital platforms and support our clients’ educational services/tutoring company.


Responsibilities:
- Provide expert IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our internal systems and customer-facing platforms.
- Develop and maintain applications using CakePHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
- Manage both front-end and back-end services, including planning, design, and implementation.
- Conduct regular updates and upgrades to ensure systems are secure and efficient.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various software tools and databases with our website through APIs.
- Oversee the deployment of new applications and handle the integration of new systems with existing setup.
- Ensure all IT practices comply with industry standards and security protocols.
- Bug testing


Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT support specialist, particularly with extensive knowledge in CakePHP.
- Strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
- Familiarity with website architecture and API integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide hands-on support for IT issues.
- Ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Highly organised
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working Hours: 4-8hrs per day (depending on experience level and capabilities)

Rate:
Part Time: $780-$840 AUD per month
Full Time: $1480-$1600 AUD per month
