JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rent Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing rental properties, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in property management and bookkeeping who is looking to join a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage rental properties, including rent collection, invoicing, and payment processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets
- Process transactions, including rent payments, security deposits, and vendor invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Communicate with tenants, vendors, and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers regarding financial matters
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and industry regulations
- Perform other bookkeeping and accounting duties as needed

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in property management and bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks or Rent Manager
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting or related field preferred.
