We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Podcast Editor/Cutter to join our growing podcast production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for transforming raw audio recordings into polished, engaging podcast episodes that captivate our listeners.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and refine raw audio recordings to create cohesive, high-quality podcast episodes
• Remove background noise, umms, and other verbal fillers to enhance audio clarity
• Adjust audio levels and ensure consistent sound quality throughout episodes
• Add intro/outro music, sound effects, and transitions as needed
• Implement content edits as directed by producers or hosts
• Trim and arrange audio segments to improve pacing and flow
• Mix multiple audio tracks when necessary (e.g., for interviews or multi-host shows)
• Ensure final product meets established quality standards and adheres to show formats
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Collaborate with producers, hosts, and other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to maintain consistency across episodes
• Stay updated on industry trends and new audio editing techniques

Requirements:

• Proven experience in audio editing, preferably with podcasts
• Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or Audacity
• Strong attention to detail and excellent listening skills
• Understanding of audio production principles and best practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to implement feedback
• Basic knowledge of audio equipment and recording techniques
• Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and RSS feeds a plus
