JOB OVERVIEW

As a Sales Executive at Hawthorne Logistics, you will own all aspects of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for managing leads from various sources, developing and implementing a CRM, communicating with potential clients, scheduling appointments, coordinating logistics activities, and managing overall account relationships. You will play a key role in helping our customers grow their logistics business and plan future logistics activities.

Responsibilities:

- Manage leads from email, partner networks, and our website.
- Develop, implement, and manage a CRM system.
- Communicate with leads to introduce our services and schedule appointments.
- Coordinate logistics activities with customers.
- Manage overall account relationships.
- Assist customers in growing their logistics business and planning future logistics activities.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to inform sales strategies and positioning.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet company objectives.
- Set and track sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of service with clients to secure deals.
- Generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted sales.
- Analyze sales data to measure effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of logistics services.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff as the team grows.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve services and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote services and generate leads.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics or related industries.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
