G Family Construction, Inc., an award-winning design-build firm based in Marin County, California, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Virtual Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in ArchiCAD and 3D modeling, with a strong focus on residential plan development and modeling.
**Responsibilities:**
- Create detailed architectural drawings and 3D models using ArchiCAD.
- Develop residential plans, including layouts, elevations, and sections.
- Collaborate with our design team to ensure plans meet project specifications and client expectations.
- Revise drawings and models based on feedback from project managers and clients.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a drafter, particularly in residential projects.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD and 3D modeling software.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Strong work ethic, desire to learn and excel and move up in the company.
- Expert at imperial measurement OR metric conversion to imperial.
