The Role:

We're searching for a talented Chrome Extension Developer to join our team and craft innovative browser extensions that enhance the user experience. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying extensions that solve problems, improve workflows, and extend the functionality of the Chrome browser for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate user needs and functionalities into technical requirements for Chrome extensions.
2. Design, develop, and maintain Chrome extensions using web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with the Chrome Extensions API.
3. Implement features that leverage Chrome extension functionalities like web scraping, content scripting, background scripts, and browser actions.
4. Ensure extensions are secure, efficient, and meet Google Chrome Web Store guidelines.
5. Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest Chrome extension APIs and functionalities to continuously improve extension capabilities.
7. Contribute to ongoing maintenance and updates of existing extensions.

Skills and Tools Required:

1. Proven experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2. Strong understanding of the Chrome Extensions API and its functionalities.
3. Experience with browser debugging tools and development workflows.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
6. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
7. A passion for building user-friendly and innovative browser extensions.
