The Role:

The YouTube SEO Intern will be a passionate and curious learner who dives into the world of YouTube optimization. You'll work alongside our marketing team to research, implement, and analyze strategies to improve our YouTube channel's discoverability and organic reach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with keyword research to identify relevant search terms and optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags.
2. Conduct competitor analysis to understand YouTube optimization best practices within our niche.
3. Help create engaging video content descriptions that entice viewers to click and watch.
4. Research and suggest trending topics and video ideas aligned with SEO best practices.
5. Analyze YouTube channel performance metrics (views, watch time, engagement) and identify areas for improvement.
6. Assist with creating and maintaining video playlists to enhance user experience and watch time.
7. Stay updated on the latest YouTube SEO trends and algorithm updates.
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of YouTube SEO strategies.
9. Learn and potentially utilize YouTube Analytics and other relevant SEO tools.

Skills and Tools Required:

1. Strong interest in YouTube and the online video content landscape.
2. Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword research techniques.
3. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling and informative video descriptions.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information.
6. Familiarity with basic video editing software is a plus.
7. Interest in learning and potentially using YouTube Analytics and other SEO tools.
