**Job Description:**
The Customer Service and Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing customer interactions, handling booking processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our rental properties. The ideal candidate will have a blend of customer service expertise, bookkeeping skills, and experience in property maintenance and listing optimization across various rental platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Customer Service:**
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone,
- Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively and independently.
- Provide guests with all necessary information regarding their stay, including check-in/check-out procedures and property amenities.
**Operations:**
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, working independently to ensure all issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Perform routine quality inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
**Bookkeeping:**
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including processing payments and refunds.
- Maintain accurate financial records and generate regular financial reports.
- Manage invoicing and ensure timely payment processing for reservations made through Expedia,
**Listing Management:**
- Create and optimize property listings on Airbnb,
- Update listings with accurate and appealing descriptions, photos, and amenities.
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market trends and occupancy rates.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in customer service and handling bookings for vacation and corporate rentals.
- Strong bookkeeping skills with experience in financial management and payment processing.
- Ability to handle maintenance tasks independently and coordinate with service providers.
- Detailed knowledge of processing payments and managing bookings on Expedia, Hotelbeds,
- Expertise in listing creation and optimization on Airbnb,
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work 5 pm - 1 am Eastern Standard Time
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with hostaway property management software.
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements for short-term rentals.
