Spanish Bilingual Virtual Assistant - Radiology (US Healthcare)

MedCore Solutions, a single-source solution for Healthcare administration, is seeking a skilled and experienced US Healthcare Credentialing Specialist for a permanent work-from-home position. As the US healthcare industry continues to grow, there is an increasing demand for qualified and reliable professionals to manage patients' queries.


Responsibilities

Assist healthcare professionals in scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Monitor and prioritize incoming/outgoing communications and respond to inquiries
Appointment Coordination: Organize and schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of radiology and imaging resources.
Patient Communication: Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide necessary instructions, and handle rescheduling or cancellations.
Prior Authorization Requests: Prepare and submit prior authorization requests for radiology and imaging procedures to insurance companies.
Track the status of submitted authorizations, follow up with insurance providers, and ensure timely approvals.
Administrative Tasks: Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, record management, and correspondence.
Patient Support: Assist patients with inquiries, provide information on procedures, and help them navigate the healthcare system.
Patient Preparation: Provide patients with pre-appointment instructions and information to ensure they are properly prepared for their imaging procedures.


Requirements

At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Virtual Healthcare Assistant or similar role
Experience in Radiology practice is a MUST
Experience handling outbound and inbound calls
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and patients
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Spanish Bilingual CSR is preferred
Amenable to work in a graveyard shift
Can start immediately
