Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The Underwriter specializes in performing financial analyses, production forecasting, and economic evaluations to evaluate acquisition opportunities. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about engineering and evaluation and eager to contribute their expertise to our growing team.

Job Description:
* Perform declination curve analysis on oil and gas wells in order to estimate future reserves
* Analyze well production producing from conventional and unconventional reservoirs
* Provide revision and technical evaluation of oil and gas wells
* Perform economic evaluations on potential investment opportunities
* Evaluate documentation provided by customers or regulatory filings to determine well development

Qualifications:
* BS in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering degree
* Graduated with at least one year of relevant experience
* Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Google Workspace
* Technical understanding of reservoir engineering (either conventional or unconventional)
* A good grasp of reserve and well forecasting (Arp’s and other forecasting methods)
* Knowledge of artificial lift methods for oil and gas wells
* Able to understand English written and verbally
* Time Zone Allies: Available for full-time (40hrs/week) during scheduled business hours.
* Preferred Qualifications (non-excluding):
* Familiarity with the different decline curve analysis (DCA) methods and being able to assess how different variables impact the shape and slope of the curve
* Remote work experience
* Ability to work Independently
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to analyze and calculate yearly cash flows
* Experience with GIS mapping systems
* Must be willing to work on US Business hours
