JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The primary goal of this role is to strengthen our firm culture and fortify our market presence through strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing attorney, referral source, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will focus on expanding our client base and identifying new leads by capitalizing on emerging opportunities and cultivating fruitful relationships within our target industries.

Qualifications:
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing business development strategies for law firms.
Strong understanding of the legal market and industry trends.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with attorneys, clients, and referral sources.
Highly organized with strong project management skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Engagement Opportunity Outreach
Identify and reach out to engagement opportunities (speaking and writing engagements) including podcasts, media appearances, press, networking events, professional groups.
Legal Forum Engagement
Craft accurate responses to legal queries on various forums (e.g. Reddit, Quora, Avvo) related to the specific practice area.
Referral Partner Management
Register the practice group lead (or any delegate) in various referral groups and facilitate the engagement of potential leads and lead sources in such groups (i.e. Avvo, SuperLawyers, AttorneyShare, Overture)
Client and Referral Outreach
Define client personas from potential referral groups (e.g., accountants, VC firms, accelerators, wealth managers, other professions), identify the gaps in their practice that IBL could fill, and send tailored educational campaigns to nurture the target demographic.
Attorney Success Amplification
Sign up attorneys to attorney-rating programs, apply for memberships and rankings and develop a plan to rank and obtain badges across different rating platforms
Amplify our attorneys accomplishment, articles and editorials, media appearances, speaking engagements, podcast episodes, and awards, along with recent industry-related developments, to our internal and external communities through social media channels, websites, periodic newsletters, and targeted outreach campaigns .
BD Pipeline Monitoring
Maintain a CRM pipeline of all BD efforts and opportunities, accessible by PGL at any time.
Experience with GoHighLevel is preferred.
Review Request and Management
IBL shall reach out to active/former clients, along with select professional contacts, to ask for reviews for online platforms (e.g., Google, Avvo, etc) and to ask for their consent to disclose them as an IBL client, if applicable.

We're looking for someone to elevate our current projects and tasks. An innovator that has done this with law firms or related companies before and can apply them to our business model. Our budget is flexible and determined based on experience and expertise.
