Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in accounting and extensive experience using QuickBooks. This role is critical to ensuring our financial health and supporting our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue
Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.).
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
