ProtosVA is seeking an experienced and organized Construction Contractor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction management who can handle multiple tasks including government bids, scheduling, and payroll.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit government bids and proposals
Schedule and coordinate workers for various construction projects
Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to project management
Manage payroll and ensure timely payments to workers
Oversee project timelines and ensure milestones are met
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Maintain detailed records of all projects, including costs, timelines, and progress
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in construction management or a similar role
Strong understanding of government bidding processes and requirements
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in construction management software and tools
Experience with payroll management and scheduling
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in construction management or a related field
Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction regulations
Experience working on government contracts and projects
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
