Job Summary:
In this role, you will split your time between system administration (70%) and IT project management (30%). You will be responsible for organizing and managing our IT environments, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Datto Backups, and VMWare servers, as well as coordinating IT projects and communicating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
System Administrator (70%):
Organize and manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Datto Backups, and VMWare servers.
Perform workstation patching using a patch manager tool.
Document progress using spreadsheets and checklists, and write thorough reports with summaries and recommendations.
Provide general IT support, assisting users with issues related to Outlook,
IT Project Manager (30%):
Communicate with stakeholders, schedule meetings, and handle quoting/procurement.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and maintain a clear change management log.
Achieve project milestones on time, with no more than a 10% budget deviation.
Conduct post-project evaluations, aiming for at least an 85% satisfaction rate from internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Datto Backups, and VMWare servers.
Strong background in IT project management, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory standards.
Ability to document processes and create detailed reports.
