We are women business owners with two national ecommerce brands in beauty and food. The right candidate will be a creative, highly engaged individual excited to work full-time as our Social Media Engagement Specialist
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will be managing our social media platforms to drive customer engagement, and generate new direct customers and wholesale leads and revenue through various activities. This includes but is not limited to:
- Join conversations on behalf of the brand and respond in a timely manner using brand voice.
- Interact with community comments, likes, reels/shares.
- Strategically repost branded and tagged content.
- Actively find and engage new customer accounts, authentically interacting with relevant influencers and potential customers.
- Monitor and engage with current social media trends, including hashtags, challenges, and popular topics, to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of relevant conversations. You should have a keen eye for emerging trends and the ability to leverage them to enhance our community engagement and brand presence.
- Work with other staff members on specific daily directs and social media events.
- Manage multiple social media platforms:
- Track your marketing efforts using social media analytics tools.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Up to date on all social media platforms and how best to use and manage them.
- Must possess excellent fluency in English, including a strong understanding of colloquialisms, slang, and pop culture references, ensuring authentic and engaging written communication.
- Must proactively and confidently engage in outreach activities to identify and cultivate new leads. This role requires a dynamic, socially active approach, where you’ll actively seek connections and opportunities.
- Major plus if you have experience with content creation.
- Doesn’t like too much supervision, likes to work autonomously.
- Must be able to cope with shifting priorities, difficult situations and deadlines.
- Working decent computer with monitor setup and dedicated area for work.
- Internet Speed - At least 30 MBPS Download speed
WORK HOURS
This position requires active engagement throughout the day to respond promptly to social media interactions. While the total daily working hours are 7-8 hours, you must be available intermittently as many of these interactions don’t occur in one window. The bulk of peak hours activity typically occurs between 8am-12pm, 3-4pm and 9-11pm Mountain Time.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay will be based on experience.
We pay well, respect your holidays and mindful requests for time off requests for sick/vacation days, and pay bonuses for performance.
Total compensation will depend on the interview and assessment results from the application above and your past work experience.
