JOB OVERVIEW




We are hiring several very talented Life Insurance Appointment Setters to join our team during our available weekend shift. As an Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for contacting prospective customers via phone (primary), text (secondary) or social media (very distant third) and following up until you have scheduled an appointment for one of our U.S. based life insurance agents.

You MUST call all incoming text leads that have filled out an online form expressing interest. These are "very hot" leads and will have just completed the online form a second before you receive a text on your phone with all the information they provided (data fields = 12). It is VITAL that you call the potential prospect IMMEDIATELY after you receive the text message during your assigned hours. A list of warm leads that never got schedule or did not show up will also be provided to work between the text messages. Use code #786FG in heading of your response so I know you've read all of this. All scripts and an operational procedures guide will cover everything you need to know. Training and role playing will be conducted before you begin.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, organized, super professional, calm under pressure and able to work independently with minimal direction. All calls must be made by hand dialing (no auto dialers). All calls must be recorded by you and saved as a wave file playable on an PC. Training and correction will be provided.

Days: FRI - SUN
Hours: 10AM and 6PM ET

Salary: $8/hour
Bonus: $0-$100 weekly based on performance

Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be a freelancer and not working through an agency
- Fluent English
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Neutral accent
- High School Diploma
- Track record of freelancing on Upwork
- Verifiable track record of freelancing as an appointment setter on Upwork
- 2+ years appointment setting experience in B2C sales
- Ability to overcome objections
- Willingness to learn during down time
- Able to take constructive advice
- Organizational skills
- Great listening skills
- Ability to guide the conversation to schedule the appointment
- Google Sheets

- Zoom
- Ability and willing to record every conversation
- Use of an international phone # for calling
- United States area code (we will test this)
- No call blocking
- No Google voice phones
- No auto dialers
- Show name on caller ID
- Guests must have the ability to call you back directly from the caller ID without incurring international fees or dialing outside the United States (U.S phone).
- Ability to attend weekly meeting at 8:00AM ET on Monday

Strongly Desired Skills:
- Sales Skills
- Slight native English speaker accent or No discernable accent preferred
- No knowledge of or experience with life insurance preferred
- A strong desire to learn and advance in sales
- Wanting to help win, travel and attend workshops and seminars to improve
