Autocad and Estimating

AutoCAD Drafting
- Proficient in 2D AutoCAD drafting for construction drawings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Update and revise existing drawings as needed
-Ridgway provides wood trusses to large multifamily apartment projects. The layouts are the placement plans for the field installers of the trusses.

Estimating
- Perform square footage and quantity takeoffs and cost estimating using Bluebeam of PDF plans
- Calculate square footage, linear footage, volumes etc.
- Familiar with Lumber and wood framing
- Have you ever done lumber take offs? Please let us know about this.
- Assist in bid preparation and proposal development

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction drafting and estimating
- Expertise in AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Sapphire Structure Experience a Huge Plus - Please highlight if you have
- Strong math skills and high attention to detail
-Great English language skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
-Work in your home time zone
-8 hours per day only with a set schedule
-Must have a great internet connection to up and download documents
-Must have software programs to do the jobs
We are an experienced firm that works extensively with outsourced teams. Currently, we have a team of 14 contractors collaborating with us remotely. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in our local office.
