Role: Video Editor
Location: Fully Remote
Hours: 20-40 Hours per Week (depending on client needs)
Pay: $8.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
1. Editing Excellence: Candidate must be extremely experienced and skilled because they will be editing complicated video ads that are specifically tailored for ecommerce brands using very high quality footage provided by the agency, following all directions and ensuring each piece captivates while achieving strategic goals.
2. Platform Proficiency: Adapt content for platform-specific requirements, especially for rapid content platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
3. Collaborative Effort: Engage closely with our creative team to ensure the video's vision harmoniously aligns with the brand's ethos and objectives.
4. Prompt Deliverables: Efficiently manage diverse projects, delivering top-notch results even within tight deadlines.
5. Stay Current: Maintain awareness of the newest video editing trends and methodologies, particularly in the ecommerce and social media spaces.
Requirements:
1. Years of experience in video editing, with particular emphasis on advertising and short form video.
2. Superior mastery of video editing tools (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.).
3. Deep understanding of fast-paced short form content like the kind on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
4. Stellar communication abilities, with a penchant for Slack and impeccable written and spoken English.
5. Must have experience working either in an agency setting or editing video directly with an ecommerce client.
6. Very fast workflow and able to and manage a variety of tasks at the same time.
7. A proactive mindset, keen to undertake more responsibilities and grow within the role.
8. Prior experience in a remote work setting and collaboration with international teams.
9. Availability and excitement to work US hours (9am - 5pm EST). This is an absolute need.
10. Respond to Slack messages very quickly-- within 30 minutes of being tagged in a message.
