JOB OVERVIEW

About the role:
First and foremost, I am looking for an operations manager that is
very dedicated, hard working, has great critical thinking skills, and
is willing to grow. We have a very fun and intense environment. This is a long term
position with potential for growth and financial bonuses. Below we have listed the key responsibilities in more detail but in summary, you will be managing the logistics of the loads that are being run from our suppliers to our clients, making sure to send proper communication along the way. You will also be expected to continue expanding our current list of partnerships with suppliers and transportation companies who allow us to deliver to our clients nationwide.

Our business is run almost entirely online and we work across the United States working mainly B2B. We will offer training so that you will be well equipped for the specific details of this position in accordance to what our company requires and the general knowledge of the products you'll need to have.

Key Responsibilities/ Tasks for the Role:
-Logistics Coordination and Load Management: Oversee the process between our clients purchasing our products and the load being delivered to the facility. Loads must be fulfilled on time 100% of the time. You will be actively tracking the freight and make sure to provide updates to our clients. You must then provide a final notice once the load is completed.
-Communication: Create and send over quotes to new clients. Send cold emails and other communication to suppliers to build strong relationships and secure partnerships. Reach out to partners over phone calls when necessary in order to gather necessary information and negotiate best prices for our clients.
-Networking and Sourcing: Actively searching various platforms (Facebook, Google Maps, websites) for new supplier partnerships in order to expand our supplier network. Build and expand upon our network of suppliers and logistics/transportation providers in order to ensure loads nationwide are being fulfilled for all of our clients.
-Research: Continuously do research on our company's product market to make sure that our team and our customers have the most up to date pricing information from our suppliers.
-Securing Prices with our Partners: Negotiate with new suppliers and logistics/transportation providers on the best price we can provide our clients with. This may be done through email or phone call. You should feel comfortable with being able to gather information on potential supplies and logistics companies, speak to them about pricing, and secure a partnership.
-Meetings: Participating in weekly team meetings to establish the team's focus for the week, discuss ideas for improvement, and provide clarity on any of the team's questions.

Requirements:
-Experience working with logistics companies/ running loads is preferred but we will train you.
-You must have negotiation skills and feel comfortable cold calling suppliers/ logistics companies.
-You must speak strong English, as you will need to make phone calls and participate in weekly team meetings.
-You must work full time (40 hours a week).
-You must have a stable wifi connection and reliable work equipment.
-You must be an independent and proactive worker.
-You must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
-You must be able to balance multiple tasks throughout the week.

Work Distribution: Taking responsibility for 80-90% of the work related to operations (logistics) and purchasing. This is a position that requires a 40 hour work week. We work in EST time Monday- Friday at standard work day hours.
