JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Marketing and Content Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing our social media presence, editing content, and providing exceptional customer service to our audience. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in social media marketing, content creation, and communication, with a passion for engaging with customers and promoting our brand effectively across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
Create compelling and visually appealing content, including posts, videos, graphics, and other multimedia assets, to share on social media channels.
Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
Engage with our audience on social media by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment of social media efforts with overall business objectives.
Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring that all materials adhere to brand guidelines and reflect our brand voice effectively.
Manage the content calendar, scheduling posts and coordinating content production to ensure a consistent and timely presence on social media.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media marketing and content creation, and share insights with the team.
Assist in the development of promotional campaigns, contests, and other initiatives to engage our audience and drive customer acquisition and retention.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to social media marketing and content engagement, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media marketing, content creation, and customer service, preferably in a similar role or industry.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create engaging and error-free content for various platforms.
Proficiency in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues professionally and courteously.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and engaging audiences through compelling content.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of SEO principles, digital marketing trends, and best practices for social media advertising is a plus.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and online reputation management tools is desirable.
A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and strategies in social media marketing and content creation.
