Paraplanner

We are a privately owned self-licensed financial advisory firm located in Melbourne Australia.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Senior Paraplanner to join our team in a full-time capacity.

Working closely with our financial planning team, you will be responsible for the development of modelling and preparing high-quality advice for new and existing clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Financial advice strategy development, including financial modelling
Preparation of Statement of Advice (SoA) documentation
Ensuring all advice documents are in line with the compliance requirements of the business and legislation
Liaising with professional partners
Reviewing product research
Client meeting preparation and portfolio reviews
The suitable candidate will have the following:

Experience in the Financial Services industry (at least 5 years experience in financial planning in Australia)
Degree qualified
Paraplanning experience 3+ Years
High level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
High level of communication skills
Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Ability to work with financial planning software such as Xplan would be highly regarded
